Breakfast is delicious. I love eating breakfast in the morning, afternoon, and even night time. So does my husband so making a breakfast casserole is something that can please a crowd when we have guests or just appease my hubbys craving for all things breakfasty for a few days. This is a recipe you can find pretty much anywhere, so this is by no means my original creation. I just figured on the off chance you’ve never had it, Id post it here for you to discover and enjoy! This is a very simple recipe, and you can really add whatever you want to it in regards to meats and vegetables. Ive actually been thinking of a bacon, spinach, and cherry tomato mash up. yum yum. Here is what you need to make this tasty creation!
- 24 oz frozen hash browns
- 12 eggs, beaten
- 4 strips bacon, chopped in large chunks
- 6 breakfast sausage patties
- 2 cups shredded cheddar
- salt & pepper
Easy peasy right?! Simple ingredients that the majority of people will have in their kitchen right now. Preheat your oven to 350 degrees and grease a 9 x 13 pan. Brown your bacon and sausage making sure to break the sausage up into small crumbles. Put the frozen hash browns into the pan and mix in the bacon and sausage.
Top with the remaining cheese…
Then bake at 350 for an hour. At this point my cooking partner came into the kitchen to help look after the goodies in the oven. She’s seriously the best haha. Forgive her little shaven arms as she was just spayed a few days before this. Theres food so she’s a happy baby!
1 hour later! Food is done and ready to dig in! Im all about that. Personally, Hubby and I like to coat this in ketchup. We really do like ketchup too much haha. Yum Yum. Put whatever condiments you want on it. Eat it as is, whatever your heart desires.. you can do it!! Although this was a rather short post. I still hope you try it and enjoy!
